Gardenia classrooms are designed as sanctuaries of calm, curiosity, and connection — spaces that feel more like a wellness retreat than a traditional childcare center. Soft natural light, muted earth tones, and organic textures create a serene atmosphere where children, especially sensory seekers, can feel grounded and free to explore. With lower staff to student ratios, each environment is intentionally composed to balance stimulation and stillness: sound-absorbing textiles, natural materials, and gentle aromatherapy calm the senses, while open-ended art ateliers, nature nooks, and quiet reflection corners invite discovery and self-regulation.

The Nature Lab
A living studio inspired by Minnesota’s ever-changing seasons and the colors of world culture. Here, children paint with natural pigments, sculpt with earth clay, and weave stories from leaves, light, and rain. Each season brings new inspiration—ice and shadow in winter, blossoms in spring, sunlight and soil in summer, golden leaves in autumn.
Through nature-inspired projects, children explore diverse artistic traditions from around the globe—batik, weaving, mosaic, and calligraphy—learning that creativity is a universal language. Guided by mindful educators, they discover beauty, empathy, and belonging in both nature and humanity.
In the Nature Lab, art connects heart to earth, and every child learns to see the world through many lenses—curious, grounded, and full of wonder.
